ABSTRACT
The research work titled, “Co-operatives an Aid to Women Empowerment in Abia State”. (A case study of Bende LGA) was carried out by the researcher.
Chapter one, deals with the introduction and the background of the study, statement of the problems, objectives of the study, research question, significance of the study, scope and limitation of the study are in the Chapter one.Chapter two deals with the review of past related literature with the following sub-headings were discussed, origin of co-operative society in Bende LGA, types of co-operatives in Bende, Economic benefits of joining co-operative, factors militating against effective participation of women in co-operative societies.Chapter three deals with the research design and methodology, area of study, procedure for data collection, data analysis.
Chapter four deals with data presentation, Analysis and interpretation of data.
Chapter five deals with findings, recommendation and conclusion.
