THE NEXUS BETWEEN THE NIGERIAN ELECTRICITY INDUSTRY AND ECONOMIC GROWTH: THE ROLE OF THE NATIONAL GAS POLICY
Abstract The study evaluates the nexus between the Nigerian electricity industry and economic growth: case of national gas policy for the period of 1986 to 2021. Secondary time-series data were analyzed using co-integration and ordinary least square techniques. Co-integration results show a long run relationship among the variables.
