ABSTRACT Folklore medicine has it that some mistletoes are used in the management of diabetes in Nupeland. The aqueous and ethylacetate extracts of two mistletoe plants, Globimetula braunii and Globimetula oreophila were investigated for hypoglycaemic effects in diabetic rats.
