ABSTRACT This study investigated the effect of cocoa polyphenol on isoproterenol-induced myocardial infarction in Wistar rats. Polyphenol was extracted from cocoa using a hydroalcohol solvent. Forty albino rats divided into six groups of four rats each were used for the study.
