Abstract This study was carried out on the knowledge, awareness and perceptions Covid 19 pandemic in Nigeria. Mass gatherings at sporting and religious events attract huge crowds, creating high-risk conditions for the rapid spread of infectious diseases. The study was carried out in Ibadan, Oyo state.
